The Phlebotomist is a haunting, beautifully written and complex story that imagines a potential future for medicine and humanity in which we are all ranked based on our blood and genetic make up. This Rating can change the course of a persons life, sometimes with catastrophic consequences. The Story explores this future by following the relationship of two young adults, one of whom works on the cunning edge of the phlebotomy field. There is so much to discover and contemplate in this brilliantly written and performed new piece of theatre. It was such a pleasure helping bring this Black Mirror-esk world to life through projections as Patrick lord’s associate.
