Forest Treas tells the story of how one neighbourhood deals with the DC snipper, the alienating nature of technology, and what it means to be a community. A young reporter/ documentarian (Roberta) visits Forest Treas intending to tell the story of the friendly folks that make up the picturesque neighbourhood, but when the DC sniper attacks a local gas station and more reports of sniper deaths are reported, Roberta decides to stay in the town to document their journey. The brilliance of this show rests in how the story is told. The actors play multiple roles and trade off using live video cameras to record each other, allowing the audience to watch this show like a traditional theatre pace as well as a video on a large ever present screen. The story escalates in absurdity as the citizens become more chaotic with news the sniper attacks persist. This is felt in the stylized movement of the actors, lighting, video, and sound.

As the associate lighting designer I attended production meetings, helped the designer (Max Doolittle) develop the plot, I programmed the show, took notes, attend previews, and made changes to the show file as needed.
