A haunting story about a criptid from the Philippines, the Monanagal. This immersive horror experience explores the story of this monster, how she become who se is, and how she’s been mistreated and misunderstood. This unique, Jurassic park esk show, takes audiences through an immersive exhibition/ museum tour describing the history and legend of the recently captured Monanongal that the audience will soon witness. Once at the '“terrarium” portion of the show we meet the monster herself and have an opportunity to hear her story. A story rooted in a struggle with colonialism, conquest, and a touch of feminism. Disaster ultimately ensues, leaving audiences to ponder the nature of monsters and how we make them.
