Next Stop Theatre Company’s An Act of God is a comedic re-imagining of the word as told by God, what the almighty entity thinks we got wrong and right, and what God plans for ‘his’ own future. God comes to us in the form of the brilliant actor, Jacob Yeh, assisted by two divine angels to re-hash the ten commandments through an interactive power-point-esk presentation to the audience. The production is upbeat, thought provoking, and just plane fun to watch. This project was such a joy to work on. Creating God’s power point, as well as enhancing other story telling elements thought the show, saw certainly a fun challenge.
