Fame! The musical based on the 1980s movie, follows the life of Carmen Diaz and her high school classmates as they pursue their dreams of fame in the preforming arts. The Free Theatre produces theatre with high school students from the Maryland and DC. Seeing this show performed by high school students added a layer to the story in understanding the pressures and dreams of young artists.
