Nat Turner in Jerusalem is a Powerful story that takes place the night before Nat Turner’s execution in the 1830s. Nat Turner lead a slave rebellion in which they killed dozens of slave owners including many women and children. The play explores the nature of freedom and the strength of the human spirit.
